Clinics are being planned at the Lancaster Fieldhouse on Sunday mornings. They will run beginning February 12th and run
through the rest of the indoor season.
in order to purchase a Roll-out Runway surface for the current raised runway. Multiple sessions per day may be run to ensure
personal attention.
The clinics will cover all of the basics,
such as pole carry, plant, takeoff, invert, pull-turn, and bar clearance, as well as advanced concepts for more
experienced vaulters. Ropes, rings, a horizontal bar, and other custom equipment is utilized to reinforce concepts.
Many drills that can be done both in practice and even at home with minimal equipment are also covered.
High definition Video Analysis will be used to break down vaults, as well as constant playback video to help vaulters see what
is happening.
The clinics are $20 per session and will run around 2 hours. More time will be available to continue drills. Coaches are
encouraged to attend and learn alongside their athletes!
Personal sessions can also be scheduled at any schools that can host vaulting. This allows for more personal attention and
customized workouts. Entire teams can learn at once inexpensively and help each other progress.
Great improvements can be made even with minimal equipment and short approaches. These sessions
vary in pricing depending on traveling and size of group. Email six.vaulting@gmail.com for information on availability!
In order to cover insurance, I will require each vaulter to have a valid USATF membership or have a school coach present.
USATF membership, among many other benefits, covers insurance during any club training or travel
to training and meets. This membership is also require at most open and summer meets, so it is very
useful. Memberships can be purchased from: http://www.usatf.org/Products---Services/Individual-Memberships.aspx
